As a beginner yogi I found Viv helpful, supportive and inspirational, and as I develop my practice she is always there to help me push myself but never in a forceful manner - I do it all at my own pace. My emotional health is so much better now that I am a yoga regular but it is the improved strength and tone I see in my body, as well as the expected better flexibility, that has pleased and surprised me.

"The yoga retreat in Tarifa was an absolutely fantastic week. The balance of yoga and time to do other activities was perfect allowing me to develop my yoga practice, learn new techniques, relax by the pool, walk to the beach and do some water sports. Vivien's approach to the retreat was great. Her enthusiasm to help us develop backed up by her tremendous knowledge and passion was infectious but not at all overpowering. I felt very relaxed as soon as we arrived and by the end of the week I was completely chilled out. Of course the amazing location with breath taking views of the Moroccan mountains and the ocean helped too. The villa and gardens are spectacular and there is plenty of space to have time on your own. The other, thing I must mention is the food that was prepared for us - what a treat! We had the opportunity to try many different cuisines and it is impossible for me to describe how tasty it all was. We ate every meal outside which is just such a luxury and made the food taste even better.I recommend this retreat to everyone. Vivien will make you feel comfortable and will help you at whatever level of yoga you are. I am very much a beginner but improved my practice and focus greatly. You will get so much out of it and come home feeling revitalised and ready for anything."
